Heartland Animal Shelter offers dog and cat adoptions to Wheeling area veterans through its partnership with Pets for Patriots.
In addition to pet adoption, Heartland Animal Shelter provides information about low-cost spay/neuter and vaccination clinics as well as pet financial aid organizations. The shelter partners with local business to receive a portion of their sales in support of their operations.
