Humane Society of Scott County offers dog and cat adoptions to Davenport area veterans through its partnership with Pets for Patriots. The shelter embraces the ASPCA’s Responsible Sheltering approach, which upholds the sanctity of life and dignity of every incoming animal.
In addition to pet adoption, Humane Society of Scott County investigates animal cruelty and neglect complaints, and enforces state and local animal-related laws. The shelter provides dog licensing and low-cost rabies and microchip clinics, humane education services, and community outreach.
