About Huntington Cabell Wayne Animal Control Shelter
Huntington Cabell Wayne Animal Control Shelter offers dog and cat adoptions to veterans through its partnership with Pets for Patriots.
In addition to pet adoption, Huntington Cabell Wayne Animal Control Shelter investigates animal cruelty and neglect complaints, and enforces state and local animal-related laws. The shelter provides dog licensing as well.
The shelter takes in critically ill, abused, and injured dogs and cats through their Second Chance Program and provides treatment and veterinary care. Animals who are not well enough to be adopted are placed in hospice foster homes.
