  • Dogs showing symptoms of either internal or external parasites are treated with dewormer and/or flea/tick preventative.


About Jefferson County Dog Control

Jefferson County Dog Control partners with Pets for Patriots to help area veterans adopt their new best friends.

The shelter serves 15 townships within Jefferson County as well as the City of Watertown. Jefferson County Dog Control assists local law enforcement with animal cruelty and neglect situations, enforces city and town canine ordinances, and serves as a refuge for stray, lost, injured, and abandoned dogs. In addition, the organization educates the community about responsible pet guardianship and preventing animal cruelty.
