Ridgefield Operation for Animal Rescue

About Ridgefield Operation for Animal Rescue

Ridgefield Operation for Animal Rescue offers dog and cat adoptions to area veterans through its partnership with Pets for Patriots.

The shelter’s education and outreach programs promote the person-pet bond and responsibilities of pet guardianship. In addition, Ridgefield Operation for Animal Rescue provides a pet food pantry, therapy dog teams, and works with student groups to support animals in need. The organization’s ‘senior to senior’ program waives the adoption fee for dogs and cats at least eight years of age whose adopters are 65 and older.

Ridgefield Operation for Animal Rescue welcomes monetary and in-kind donations; see their complete wish list for details. For a more hands on experience become one of their valued volunteers or fosters.
