About Seattle Humane

Seattle Humane offers dog and cat adoptions to King County veterans through its partnership with Pets for Patriots. Founded in 1897, the organization offers a range of services, including low-cost spay/neuter, micro-chipping, and humane education.

In addition to pet adoption, Seattle Humane actively promotes the human-animal bond and has a variety of programs to assist pet owners in need. The organization operates a pet food bank for low-income senior citizens, and those living with HIV or cancer.

Seattle Humane welcomes monetary donations, in addition to a wide range of kennel supplies, toys and pet food; see their complete wish list for details. For a more hands-on experience, become one of their valued volunteers or pet fosters.
