About SPCA of Anne Arundel County

SPCA of Anne Arundel County offers dog and cat adoptions to veterans through its partnership with Pets for Patriots, and will help them find their new best friends.

Founded in 1920, SPCA of Anne Arundel County is the largest and oldest animal welfare organization in the county. They provide shelter and rehabilitation for animals in need, advocate for the passage and enforcement of laws promoting the humane treatment of animals, and educate the public about the value of companion pets.

There is no time limit placed on how long an animal is available for adoption while in the care of the SPCA of Anne Arundel County.

SPCA of Anne Arundel County welcomes monetary donations, as well as in-kind contributions of various pet foods, treats and supplies; see their wish list for details. For a more hands on experience become one of their valued volunteers or pet fosters.
