About SPCA of Northeastern North Carolina

SPCA of Northeastern North Carolina (SPCA of NENC) offers dog and cat adoptions to veterans through its partnership with Pets for Patriots. Established in 1986, the shelter serves residents of Pasquotank and Camden counties through pet adoption and animal control services.

As part of its commitment to reduce pet overpopulation and promote responsible pet ownership, SPCA of NENC offers a publicly-available spay/neuter clinic. To help the most overlooked senior pets find loving homes the shelter offers an ‘SOS – Save our Seniors’ program that discounts pet adoption fees for animals more than five years of age to adopters who are 55 and older.

SPCA of Northeastern North Carolina welcomes monetary and in-kind donations; see their complete wish list for details. For a more hands on experience, become one of their valued volunteers or become a member of the SPCA. All membership fees go directly towards the care of animals at the shelter.
